Maryland Community College Learning Assessment Group (MCCLAG)
The major purpose of the MCCLAG shall be to:

provide for the dissemination of information and the interchange of ideas related to assessment of learning outcomes;

provide for professional development;
-
make recommendations or comments on issues related to learning outcomes assessment to relevant policy-making entities;
-
foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among persons having interests and activities related to assessment of learning outcomes;
-
engage the college communities in creating and fostering a culture of assessment;
-
report to M4CAO.

Assessment and Analytics Software
Good morning! It was lovely to meet the team this morning. I'd like to follow-up on our technology discussion this morning, specifically regarding assessment and analytics software. We are currently using Nuventive (TracDat) for assessment and Excel for analytics. We also do data pulls via SQL queries from our in-house SIS. Our LMS is Canvas. We're considering alternative software solutions and I'd like to get a discussion going on what my fellow assessment peers are using, pros and cons, experiences, etc.
